Honest current state
Rome Oracle Gateway is newly on mainnet and unaudited. Treat it as young infrastructure, not a battle-tested dependency.
  • Early mainnet. First mainnet deployment; expect rough edges.
  • No audit. Third-party review is scheduled, not complete.
  • Single-owner pause. Rome can freeze adapters in an incident.
  • Few feeds live. Long-tail pairs require you to deploy them.
  • Permissionless deploy. Anyone can publish an adapter from any Pyth/SB account.
  • Bring your own risk. Do not use in production value flows.

V. Data sources

Backed by Solana's two major price oracles.

Pyth Network

First-party price data from institutional publishers. Permissionless price accounts on Solana, read atomically via the Rome precompile.
